Retirement system and its implementation

The company formulates employee retirement measures in accordance with the “Labor Standards Act” and the “Labor Pension Ordinance” to provide stable pension provisions and benefits. According to the “Labor Standards Act”, the employer should estimate that the employer will meet the retirement conditions in the following year. The pension required by workers and make up for the difference in reserves to ensure workers’ pension rights. Retirement reserves are set aside in accordance with the “Labor Standards Act” and pension benefits are calculated based on the employee’s service years and the average salary in the six months before retirement in accordance with the provisions of the “Labor Standards Act”. Employees who are eligible for the old pension system will allocate 4.2% of their total salary to the employee pension fund every month, and submit it to the Labor Retirement Reserve Supervisory Committee and deposit it into a special account in the Bank of Taiwan in the name of the committee. For employees who are eligible for the new pension system, according to the “Labor Pension Ordinance”, 6% of the employee’s monthly salary will be transferred to the individual account of the Labor Insurance Bureau.

Hazard identification and risk assessment

Hazard identification and risk assessment are regularly carried out every year for various operating activities and production processes in the factory that may change or be temporarily changed in the future. A review team composed of deputy managers and section chiefs of each unit who have received professional training in process safety assessment uses Hazard identification assessment and risk coefficient calculation screen out risk levels, and set target plans based on hierarchical control, occupational safety and health objectives and management plan management methods to eliminate and replace engineering control measures, labeling/warning or management control measures, personal protective equipment, etc. Consider and reduce risks to an acceptable level.
Establish accident investigation procedures for lost-time injuries, lost-time injuries and false alarms that occur in various operating activities in the factory to record, investigate, analyze and review incidents, prevent accidents or false alarms from happening again, and protect employee safety and health.

Occupational safety and health committee

The committee organization includes the chairman (head of management department), executive staff (job/environmental safety office) and members (department head/unit head/unit personnel/labor representative). Labor representatives are selected by employees.

The Occupational Safety and Health Committee is convened every three months. The occupational safety and health business manager is the convener, and the chairman or designated agent is the chairman. It discusses the following matters and keeps records:

01-Make suggestions on the occupational safety and health policy formulated by the Chairman.
02-Coordinate and recommend occupational safety and health management plans.
03-Review the safety and health education and training implementation plan.
04-Review the operating environment monitoring plan, monitoring results and measures to be taken.
05-Review health management, occupational disease prevention and health promotion matters.
06-Review various safety and health proposals.

07-Review the automatic inspection and safety and health audit matters of each unit.
08-Review the preventive measures for hazards to machinery, equipment or raw materials and materials.
09-Review the occupational disaster investigation report.
10-Assess on-site safety and health management performance.
11-Review the safety and health management matters of contracted business.
12-Other matters related to occupational safety and health management.

Improve employee benefits
