Taipower has recently launched a ten-year “strengthening power grid resilience construction plan” with a total budget of 564.5 billion yuan. The major project is to add and expand many transmission grade cables. There are only four in the country. This manufacturer has 345KV (kilovolt) cable manufacturing capabilities, and can be said to be the biggest beneficiary; and 52 substations have been newly added or renovated. In addition to selling equipment, the heavy power plant also provides turnkey substation projects. , ZTE Engineering, Datong, Hwaseong, Shidian, ZTE, etc. with relevant performance in the past are all optimistic about the policy benefits.
Expansion of transmission grade cables, expansion and reconstruction of substations
The power system can be divided into power supply and power grid. If we use the metaphor of the human body, the power supply is like the heart, the transmission lines in the power grid are the large arteries and small arteries, and the distribution lines are like capillaries. Taipower’s ten-year power grid strengthening plan is even larger in scale than the Seventh Transmission and Transformation Plan (Seventh Transmission Plan). A large number of new transmission lines will be added, and even capacity will be expanded, including direct supply to Zhuke and Zhongke. The transmission lines of Nanzi Industrial Park and Nanzi Industrial Park are all rated 3,45,5KV.
Taipower selects qualified manufacturers every year. There are only four companies that can produce 3,45,5 KV cables, including Huarong, Daya, TATUN and Heji. As for 161 KV, there are 11 companies including Walsin Lihua and Pacific Cable. Manufacturer.
Twenty-eight new substations will be added and 24 will be renovated within ten years. In addition, old equipment will be replaced with new ones. Heavy electrical equipment manufacturers such as Shidian, ZTE, TECO, and Yali Electric will have the opportunity to grab large orders; ZTE’s sulfur hexafluoride gas insulated switchgear (GIS) can reach 3,45,5KV level, and its domestic market share is as high as 85%.
Heavy electrical equipment factories do not just sell equipment. In the past, they would work together on turnkey projects or strategic alliances. For example, Datong, Huacheng, Shidian, Zhongxing Engineering, etc. have all participated in Taipower’s substation turnkey projects, and they are all expected to enjoy another ten years. Big order.
